You relied on your Greeley tax services company to complete your taxes and now you are getting a big chunk of money back from Uncle Sam. Good for you! You have always wanted to travel and this is the year that you and your spouse will fly to the destination of your choice for some much needed and deserved rest and relaxation. The problem is that you have no idea where you want to go for your vacation. We can help.
In a world full of fabulous destinations, choosing the right place to go can present itself as quite the challenge. Here are a few of our recommendations to help you decide where you want to go.
Belgrade, Serbia
Since the end of the Yugoslav wars, Belgrade has made some very wise and lucrative investments in their city. Once graffiti-covered neighborhoods have been cleaned up and are now full of fantastic eateries and bars where you will find hearty platters of local cuisine including smoky sausages and stuffed peppers. Another big draw is the growing craft beer scene, which now stands at around 37 breweries.
Cape Town, South Africa
Beyond its cinematic beaches and iconic mountain backdrop, Cape Town is a city of compelling design. And when the city opens the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary African Art in 2017, it will only get better. Between visits to museums and breathtaking sights, you can keep yourself well-hydrated and full at any of the city’s acclaimed restaurants.
Kauai, Hawaii
Anywhere you go in Hawaii is a great place to travel, but we chose Kauai for a few reasons. The weather is beautiful, there are fewer crowds and it is more affordable than some of the other places, all great reasons to make this a destination.
Condo rentals are in abundance while still having resorts from which to choose if you so desire. The beaches have lifeguards and the drive between destinations is short and there are things for the whole family to enjoy.
Toronto, Ontario
Toronto is home to Ripley’s Aquarium, the Toronto Zoo, the Science Centre and the Royal Ontario Museum and this list goes on and on of great places to visit. You won;t want to miss out on the ferry ride across Centre Island where you can enjoy endless green space, wading pools and antique rides. There are so many activities, we can’t possibly name them all.
Vancouver, British Columbia
Known for its relatively warm winter temperatures, Vancouver is a city you can enjoy any time of year. The famous Stanley Park is made up of 1000 acres of jungle sanctuary. If you tire of hiking, spend some time at the Vancouver Aquarium where both indoor and outdoor exhibits let you get up close and personal with the creatures. There are also plenty of live entertainment, markets and ferry rides to enjoy.
Washington, D.C.
Washington D.C. is loaded with free museums, a free national zoo and, of course, the White House. There is also plenty of free walking tours, restaurants and a wonderful nightlife.
